For over 15 years, we’ve been dedicated to sustainable forestry and the timber trade. Our passion for wood goes beyond its remarkable properties; we believe that sustainable forestry is beneficial for the environment and creates jobs throughout the production chain.
We understand that toys play a crucial role in helping children develop various skills and encouraging their imagination and creativity. That’s why we focus on crafting high-quality wooden toys.
Our goal is to build a community that understands the significant impact of consumption on the environment and the economy. We believe that the way we consume and produce should align with the available resources, and starting with children’s toys is an excellent way to make a difference.
For too long, society has relied on materials that require substantial energy to produce and are difficult to recycle. At Walden Kids, we’re committed to changing that by offering environmentally friendly products that are easy to recycle.

Our office is located in Hamburg, Germany, and we work with producers in various parts of Southeast Asia and Latin America. We regularly visit these production sites to ensure the quality of our products, uphold safety and environmental standards, and build long-lasting relationships with our suppliers.
While Walden Kids is a young company, we bring extensive experience in certifications and quality standards from our previous ventures. This background enables us to offer high-quality products made from sustainable materials and produced at sites that respect and value their workers.
At Walden Kids, we take a holistic approach to forestry and agroforestry. Just as we know that diversifying tree species helps forests become more resilient, we believe that offering a variety of products from these projects can provide forest owners with multiple revenue streams. Some trees will be harvested and replanted, while others will remain to provide fruits, oils, and other non-timber products.
This philosophy is why we’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of our sister company, Walden Organics. Walden Organics will focus on essential oils and other non-timber forest products.
